What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous mediated settlement. The Tenant failed to pay full rent for October 2022 and did not make the required $100 payment towards arrears by October 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by January 28, 2023. The Tenant is ordered to pay $7,754.27 plus $11.31 per day from January 18, 2023, until they move out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 28, 2023, interest will be charged at 5% annually from January 29, 2023.
