What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid Notice of Termination effective November 21, 2019 due to rent arrears.
The ruling
The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $5,981.00, which represents the rent arrears up to September 30, 2020 and the application filing fee. The Tenants shall pay $200.00 in arrears and the monthly rent on or before the 1st business day of each month for 29 months starting October 2020 to February 2023. The remaining balance of arrears shall be paid by March 1, 2023. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
