What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant's guest committing an illegal act and impairing the safety of another person in the residential complex. The Tenant's guest forcibly kicked the door and entered another unit, pushed the elderly tenant, and made his way through the unit to the balcony where he exited to access the Tenant's adjoining unit.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant fails to comply with the condition of not committing an illegal act or impairing the safety of another person in the residential complex, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
