What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on October 1, 2019.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by May 22, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,087.01, which represents the rent owing up to May 11, 2021 and the costs related to the application fee for the previous application. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $19.20 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting May 12, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by May 22, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding. If the unit is not vacated by May 22, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction.
