What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant had not vacated the rental unit by the hearing date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 30, 2020. The Tenant must pay $1,133.69 plus $44.38 per day starting October 20, 2020 to the Landlords. If the Tenant pays $1,145 on or before October 30, 2020, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
