What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. As of the hearing date, Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit and had not made any payments since the application was filed.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $25,186.00 by November 12, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by November 12, 2022, and pay $19,740.75 plus $82.19 per day from October 26, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 13, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
