What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to their failure to pay rent as per the terms of a previous mediated settlement. The tenants failed to pay rent for several months.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 14, 2020. The tenants must pay the landlord $4,282.40 in arrears and compensation by September 14, 2020. If the full amount is not paid by that date, the tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by September 14, 2020, the landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
