What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on March 1, 2021 with respect to application TEL-12334-20.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must move out by May 21, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. However, the eviction cannot be enforced due to Ontario Regulation 266/21 until the regulation is removed by the Ontario Government.
