What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with other tenants' and the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex. The Landlord served valid N5 notices, but the Tenant continued to park in an unauthorized visitor parking spot, substantially interfering with other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 18, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $10,384.89, which includes rent arrears, application fees, and daily compensation, minus the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not vacate by September 18, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
