What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords and Tenant signed an agreement to terminate the tenancy as of July 31, 2021, but the Tenant did not move out by the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 24, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by August 24, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding. If the unit is not vacated by August 24, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement.
