What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date. The Tenant was not present at the hearing.
The ruling
The Board denied the Landlords' application for eviction but ordered the Tenant to pay rent on time for the next 12 months. The Tenant must pay the $186.00 filing fee to the Landlords by February 15, 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any of the ordered payments on time, the Landlords may apply for an eviction order without notice within 30 days of the missed payment.
