What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,147.92 for rent arrears and costs, plus $55.89 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 20, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 30, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
