What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 23, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $10,126.00 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $93.70 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting October 1, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by October 23, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
