What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires the rental unit for her own residential occupation. The Landlord also applied for an order requiring the Tenants to pay the Landlord's reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for unpaid utility costs.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 30, 2022. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before October 30, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord compensation of $47.05 per day for the use of the unit starting September 8, 2022 until the date the Tenants move out.
