What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by February 7, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $8,598.19, which includes rent arrears, costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 7, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
