What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 24, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $8,010.24, which includes the remaining rent arrears and application fees from the previous order, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay by April 24, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance starting April 25, 2021.
