What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenants causing undue damage to the premises and substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the building. The Landlord also initially applied for compensation for damages but withdrew this part of the application during the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 22, 2023. Tenants must vacate by this date or face enforcement by the Sheriff starting March 23, 2023. Tenants are ordered to pay $186.00 for the Landlord's application filing cost. The last month's rent deposit is to be applied to the last month of tenancy with interest credited to the Tenants.
