What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 7, 2022. The Tenants owe no money to the Landlord, as the amount of rent owing up to February 24, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest, exceeds the amount the Landlord is entitled to under this order by $222.38. The Landlord is authorized to offset $53.23 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting February 25, 2022 until the Tenants move out.
