What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 1, 2022, due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If they fail to do so, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction enforcement starting October 2, 2022.
