What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 8, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,345.25 in rent arrears and application costs, plus $29.29 per day in compensation for use of the unit from February 26, 2021 until the move-out date. If the full amount is not paid by March 8, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
