What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 6, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $5,794.58 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $65.75 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting January 27, 2021 until they vacate. If the full amount is not paid by February 6, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest and the Landlords can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
