What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had not paid the full rent from November 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017, resulting in rent arrears.
The ruling
The Tenant is given an opportunity to continue the tenancy by making monthly payments of $300 towards the arrears, in addition to paying the monthly rent of $1,071 on time. If the Tenant fails to make the required payments, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant.
