What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant raised issues about the functioning of the washer and dryer in the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2016, unless the Tenant pays $2,420 to void the eviction order. The Tenant must pay $1,046.27 to the Landlord, plus $24.66 per day starting June 7, 2016 until the unit is vacated. If the unit is not vacated by June 30, 2016, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
