What happened

The Co-op applied to the Landlord and Tenant Board to end the occupancy of the member unit and evict the Co-op Member because: the Member no longer meets the qualifications for occupancy, the Member did not pay the regular monthly housing charges, the Member or someone visiting or living with the Member wilfully or negligently caused undue damage to the member unit and seriously impaired the safety of another person in the residential complex, and the Member abandoned the member unit.

The ruling

The Co-op Member's occupancy rights are terminated and the member unit must be vacated on or before May 31, 2015. The Co-op Member shall pay the Co-op $3,064.40 by May 31, 2015, which includes rent arrears, other housing charges, and the application filing fee, less the amount of refundable deposits held by the Co-op. If the Co-op Member fails to vacate the unit on or before May 31, 2015, the Co-op may file this Order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) starting June 1, 2015.
