What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay rent owed and reimbursement for NSF cheques. Tenant had vacated the rental unit on March 31, 2022. Landlord amended their application to an L9 application solely for arrears of rent and the filing fee.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $2,381.69, which includes rent arrears, application costs, and NSF charges. If not paid by October 30, 2022, interest will be charged at 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance from October 31, 2022.
