What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlords' parent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 18, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,771.48 in compensation, plus $67.86 per day from June 25, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
