What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 24, 2021. Tenants failed to pay rent for the period from August 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $4,185.22 by February 18, 2022. Tenants must pay $2,597.63 for rent arrears and compensation, plus $26.60 per day from February 8, 2022, until they move out. If not paid, Landlord may file for eviction enforcement from February 19, 2022.
