Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay compensation for damages caused by the Tenant or a person the Tenant permitted in the residential complex.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,253.11 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and/or replacing the damaged property, as well as $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 31, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
