What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, entered the rental unit illegally and altered the locking system on a door giving entry to the rental unit or residential complex without giving the Tenant replacement keys.

The ruling

The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant $1,125 for a rent abatement for half of February 2020 and all of March 2020, as well as $50 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $1,175. The Landlord must also immediately return any of the Tenant's belongings still in the Landlord's possession.
