What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $4,000 in damages for the unit repairs. If the Tenants do not pay by November 3, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
