What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 21, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,086.00 in rent arrears and costs, as well as $14.79 per day in compensation for use of the unit from December 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 21, 2022, they will owe interest starting January 22, 2022.
