What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated, effective July 31, 2021. If they have not already vacated, the Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before October 8, 2021. If the Tenants did not vacate the rental unit on or before July 31, 2021, the Tenants must pay to the Landlord $27.95 per day for the use and occupation of the rental unit until the day the Tenants vacate.
