What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the terms of a previous mediated settlement.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 29, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $7,728.17, plus $36.16 per day starting September 19, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by September 29, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by September 29, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
