What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not meet the condition to pay $483.66 by June 27, 2021 as specified in the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by August 9, 2021. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the arrears. The Landlord can offset $29.74 per day for compensation for the Tenant's use of the unit starting July 30, 2021 until the Tenant moves out.
