What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant, or someone Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the premises and seriously impairing the safety of any person. Landlord withdrew the request to terminate the tenancy.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,500 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and/or replacing the damaged property, and $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 26, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
