What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for their son.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of December 22, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 21, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
