What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant had signed in for the hearing but left before the matter was heard and did not return.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 24, 2022, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlords $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 24, 2022, they will owe interest starting February 25, 2022.
