What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by the Landlord's son. The Tenant argued that the Landlord did not provide 60 days' notice as required by the Act.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is dismissed. The Tenant shall pay back to the Landlord the one month's rent compensation she received, on or before April 29, 2021.
