What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on August 26, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 15, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,919.03, which includes rent arrears, application fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $24.03 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting October 5, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 15, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting October 16, 2021.
