What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not pay the full rent for November 2022 by the due date, breaching the conditions of the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 27, 2023. The Tenant must pay $8,317.83 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to February 16, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $33.70 per day from February 17, 2023, until vacating the unit. If the Tenant does not vacate by February 27, 2023, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
