What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on October 3, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 26, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,200.45 by February 26, 2023, which includes rent arrears, NSF charges, and the application filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the unit is not vacated by February 26, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant also owes the Landlord $22.68 per day for use of the unit starting February 16, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
