What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant paid all required rent for the period from March 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023 after the application was filed. The Landlord is entitled to reimbursement of the application filing costs.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by January 31, 2023, interest will start to accrue at 5.00% annually from February 1, 2023.
