What happened
The Co-op applied to the Landlord and Tenant Board for an order to end the occupancy of the member unit and evict the Co-op Members because the Co-op Members did not pay the regular monthly housing charges that the Co-op Members owe with respect to the member unit and because the Co-op Members have persistently failed to pay the regular monthly housing charges on the date they become due and payable.
The ruling
The occupancy shall continue provided the Co-op Members pay the December, 2014 monthly housing charge in guaranteed funds, no later than December 5, 2014. Commencing on January 1, 2015 and continuing on the 1st day of each month up to and including December 31, 2015, the Co-op Members shall pay to the Co-op the full regular monthly housing charges as they become due and payable, in guaranteed funds. If the Co-op Members fail to make any of the payments in accordance with the order, the Co-op may apply at no cost, and without notice to the Co-op Members, for an order to terminate the occupancy and evict the Co-op Members.
