What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by the Landlord or another tenant, or substantial interference with a lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord provided evidence of the Tenant accumulating excessive amounts of garbage and materials on the property, resulting in violations from the municipality.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 13, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee by November 13, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by that date, they will owe interest at 2% on the outstanding balance starting November 14, 2021.
