What happened

Landlord applied to re-open a previous application due to Tenants' non-compliance with a mediated settlement. The Tenants had not paid full rent from January 2020 to May 2021, leading the Landlord to serve a valid N4 Notice to terminate the tenancy.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 24, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $13,898.20, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and application costs, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 24, 2021, the Landlord may file the order for enforcement of the eviction.
