What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. Tenant C.H. continued to pay rent to Tenant R.M., who failed to pay the Landlords. Tenant C.H. was not present at the initial hearing.

The ruling

The request to review the order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants is denied. The Tenant C.H. was reasonably able to participate in the hearing, and the order did not contain a serious error. The stay of the original order is lifted.
