What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent and non-payment of rent. The parties reached an agreement during mediation.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $6,561.03 in rent arrears, the $186.00 application filing fee, and $25.03 for the balance owing for the hot water tank rental, by August 31, 2023. Simple interest will be calculated on any outstanding balance starting September 1, 2023.
