What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 30, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $11,316.68 in rent arrears, plus $25.97 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting January 1, 2022 until the Tenant vacates. If the full amount is not paid by January 30, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
