What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after a mediated settlement was reached in a previous application (CEL-91842-20). The Tenants had employment issues due to COVID-19 and could not make all the agreed-upon payments on time, but have paid most of the arrears.

The ruling

The eviction order was set aside, and the mediated settlement from the previous application (CEL-91842-20) remains in effect with the amendment that the arrears payments are due on the 21st of each month, and the Tenants are to pay the Landlord $350 on or before August 24, 2020.
