What happened

The landlord, Judith Webb, applied for an order to determine whether the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 applies to the tenant, Patrick Millar's, occupation of the property. The landlord testified that she rented a room in her main floor unit to the tenant, and the tenant later moved into the basement unit without her permission.
